The Snowy Mountains Highway will be closed between Havelock street and Campbell Street for Anzac Day commemorations from 10.30am to 11am.

Detours will be in place.

Motorists are advised to take extra caution in the area as there is an expected increase in pedestrian activity.

Eastbound traffic will detour via Campbell Street, Gilmore Street, Neill Street, Gundagai Street, Havelock Street and Lynch Street.

Westbound traffic will detour via Havelock Street, Gundagai Street, Neill Street, Gilmore Street and Campbell Street.

Single-lane closures and a reduced speed limit will be in place for the duration of the work, including outside of work hours.

Alternating (stop/slow) traffic conditions will be in place to allow motorists to pass in one direction at a time. Traffic controllers will be on site to direct motorists. Motorists are advised to allow approximately 5 minutes of additional travel time.
